Make Amazingly Huge Profits on no Budget With Google Adsense.

By: Reginald Curtis

You would be amazed at the money being made with Google Adsense every day by people like you and me. Google adsense is one of the easiest way I have found to add extra in come to your website or blog.

It hardly takes any computer skill to implement Google Adsense ads into your website or blog. All you have to do is sigh up with Google for the Google Adsense program and get approved, which will take 2-3 days in most cases. Once approved google will automatically make you Adsense code. All you have to do is insert Adsense ad into your website or blog. That’s it.

With that said, now that you have your Google Adsense ads posted to your website you will need to drive traffic to it. For starters, everybody knows that content is king on the internet and search engines love it.

Fill your site with good quality keyword saturated content is the first step in getting you website noticed by Google and other search engines, keep you content up to date, try added new stuff weekly. RSS feeds also work nicely because it automatically ads fresh content to your site with no work on your end. Everybody likes that! I could go on and on about SEO but your web site content is probably the most important thing of all. People searching the web love information.

I would recommend finding out as much as possible about SEO, ranking high in the search engines will be worth the work, times a million. Placement of your Google adsense ads will also play a huge factor in the amount of clicks you get on you ad sense adds. I have found that a large horizontal banner right under the header works best. You will also wont to customize you ads to go with the theme of your website, so they look a little more like content and less like ads. People will be more apt to click on them the ads that way.

Google does set some limiting on what you can do to the ads. You are going to wont to read terms of use with Google adsense. Reading terms of use is a very important step. You do not wont to get shut down for something you were not aware of.

There is also meany other ways to get traffic to your adsense ads, here is a list of a few that have worked the best for me.

1. Submitting articles just like this one to article sites. This is a great way to get your site out there. Just write a good article on any subject that you no a little about. Ad a link to your site at the bottom and that’s it. If people have found what you have written interesting they will in most cases take a look and your site. Best of all it is free advertizement for you. There is also software out there that will automatically submit your articles for you and save you a ton of time.

2. Get your site linked to as many high-ranking sites as possible. This can be down by contacting high-ranking sites with similar content to yours and requesting them to add your link in there site. This will help you get index in search engines faster and increase your page rank. Search engines like a lot of links from other high ranking sites. This makes you look more important to them.

There are hundreds of ways to promote your site. I recommend just sticking to a few simple methods to start with. It is very easy to get over whelmed if you try doing too much.

Google Adsense: Why Do I Need Google Adsense?

McTattoo
Because it’s there, it’s fun and it’s free. If you’re reading this, you obviously have some interest in the internet. You don’t even have to have your own site, although the more sites you use Google Adsense on, the more money you will make. For example, anyone can write a blog even if it’s just your own opinion on something.
You can also make money referring other people to Google Adsense. By placing a referral button on your site you increase your earnings potential. When a publisher that you referred makes their initial $100.00 within 90 days of sign-up and is eligible for payout, your account will also be credited $100.00. Additionally, they must never have registered for a Google Adsense account before.
Don’t be intimidated by the html code. It’s already formatted. All you have to do is choose the language and kind of button you would like, and copy and paste the html code to your site. Look for the referral code and more information under Adsense support.

5 Reasons Why Blogging is the New Internet Marketing Tool

McTattoo
Blogging is a concept that started in late 90s. It used to be a way to comment an existing webpage, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out one’s opinion on the said page. What started as a single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages of personal take on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it continues to move forward, online advertising has tapped into the blog’s potential. Here are 5 reasons why you should use blogging as an Internet marketing tool.
1.Blogging is simple. The simplest way to get your piece on the net is through blogging. No skills are necessary… an average adult can read and type, or at least click a mouse. It’s like having a virtual piece of paper and you just write your ideas, experiences, new products, and hope that the truth behind your articles comes out and entice your reader to also try your product. If you have a PC and an Internet connection (who doesn’t?) then you can blog and advertise.
2. Blogging is authentic. In this day and age where advertising saturate our lives, we question the credibility of promoters’ claims. However, in blogs, real people share their real-life experiences, unscathed by paid advertising. Reading blogs about first-hand product use is like talking to people about their first-hand experience. You definitely want to buy a tried and tested product.
3. Blogging is free. Because blogging is yet to be proven as a mainstream online advertising media, most sites see it as something to augment current marketing tools and thus offer it for free. Any opportunity for free webtime is definitely a bonus especially to businesses that are starting up. Needless to say, paid blog pages can generate more income for your seriously growing business.
4. Blogging builds credibility. As you get more and more into writing your experiences on a particular product or industry, your readers come to realize that they can depend on your posts for their own information needs. As such, you become an expert on it; as a consequence, more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs. As companies and professional organizations notice the growth of your readership base, they may soon get in touch with you for advertising on your blog page, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.
5. Blogging builds your market. Unless you are a Hollywood star, chances are, only your Mom reads your posts. Mom has a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how interesting your blog site is. But you need not depend on Mom to increase your readership base. Look into the following ways to build your market through blogging:
-By using your e-mail. Today, blogging is overcoming the e-mail’s popularity in quickly and effectively reaching and expanding a market. In this age of speed and quick access, logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer than clicking into a blog site. Let them explore your site by using a short e-mail message as teaser to your blog site. If your e-mail is on an entirely different subject, use your e-mail signature to give a link to the site.
-By using subscription. An easy way to get your readers e-mail is to give them an opportunity to subscribe to your blogsite. Keep some exclusive information for your subscribers to entice readers to subscribe and give their e-mail address. Just be responsible in using their e-mail address, as the last thing you want is a comment on your blog that you are a spammer.
-By understanding your readers. Conduct a simple survey for your readers to understand their profile and advertising preferences. Ask consumers to give you feedback on a post, an ad link, or a trial that you shared. In this way, it is like interviewing your readers without the commitment and intrusion of a face-to-face interview.
-By joining a blog network –A network of blogs maybe a collection of blog sites that share the same industry, interest, readership base, payment mode, etc. Consumers find credibility and convenience in clicking one link to several real bloggers about a single subject. Clearly, more bloggers are better than one.
-By using RSS. RSS is the fastest growing technology on the Internet today. As such, having RSS feeds to your blog is definitely another means of generating awareness for your readership base. Having a variety of feeds can add interest to your blog site.
Give your business a boost by effectively using blogging as an Internet marketing tool.

Basics of Making Money Online

By: Grant Simons

Basics- Making Money Online

As with any way to make money, the best way of making money online is to follow your passions. First find something you love to do, then find a way to use it for making money online.

There are many websites with ideas for making money online. Some are scams, but many have good ideas. To start making money online, look through sites that offer ideas in the field you are intersted in. Remember that making money online is still a job, and you want a job that you like.

Once you have narrowed down your ideas, consider costs. If you are on a budget, it will narrow down your ideas even more. For any program that you have to buy into, find other people who have worked in the program to see if it really made them any money. Some people make money online by selling programs that don't work that well. Make sure the costs involved in the program you are buying make sense. If they do, and if you find others who have been successful, you might be on the right track.

You also need to consider your time commitment. Find a way to make money online that won't take up all of your spare time if you are already working a full time job.

Once you have determined how you plan to make money online, spend the time you need. Many people start an online business but lose interest and quit. Find a business that you love so you want to stay with it. Finding a way to do what you love is the best way to make money online.

Ways For Making Money Online

There are actually many different ideas for making money online. Some of them are obviously more lucrative than others, however. Also, there are many scams for supposedly making money online that don't really work, and you end up losing money.

As a general rule, if the online money making opportunity asks for money, it is probably not a good thing. Legitimate ways to make money online will not ask you for money to get the job. The only exception to this is for home businesses. Many home businesses require an upfront investment from you. If you decide that a home business is the best way to go for making money online, then you will probably have to spend some money to get started. However, many people have been very successful with home businesses.

One way that people are making money online is by having several different income streams. This means that you do a bunch of things online that make a little bit of money, which turns out to be a reasonable amount of money when you add them all up. For instance, some people fill out surveys, do some writing, read emails, sell things on Ebay or even do affiliate marketing. These are all ways to have multiple streams of income making money online.

There are actual jobs available online. However, there is a lot of competition for them. Telecommuting from home is one of the best ways for making money online. You need to have an excellent resume and to do a lot of research to find the companies that are hiring people with your skills.

To make money online, you have to find the opportunities. Until you are making the kind of money you would like to, don't quit your day job.

Five Rules for Dealing with Spam

By: Aubrey Jones

Do you bank online? Do you store or use passwords on your computer or the Internet? Do you send personal information in emails? Do you conduct business on your computer? If you answer yes to any of these questions you could be putting yourself at risk just by opening some spam emails.

Whether you use Outlook®, Outlook Express®, MSN Hotmail®, AOL®, Eudora®, Thunderbird™ or any other email program you will be likely exposed to some spam and other junk email.

Spam is not just an annoyance. It can be dangerous! Simply opening and reading a spam message can open you to viruses that can damage your computer and the information that is on it. Spam that has spyware attached is the most often used way for criminals to gain access to your computer and more importantly the private and personal information you have on it.

Just because you receive spam, doesn't mean it has to be a problem for you. Follow these rules to reduce or eliminate the SPAM and junk email you receive and protect yourself from the unwanted emails you do receive.

1. DELETE. If you don’t recognize the sender, just delete the email. Do people you don't know ever really send you 'important' email?

2. DELETE. If the email asks you to ‘click here to verify your account,’ just delete the email. No reputable company will ask you to provide confidential information through an email. If your account has really been ‘compromised’ you will get a phone call or postal letter, not an email.

3. CONFIRM. Okay, you really think someone may have gotten into your bank account and your bank needs you to ‘verify’ your account. All you have to do is make a phone call and confirm that the email is legitimate. Go directly to the website for the company supposedly sending you the message. (IMPORTANT: Don’t rely on the link in the email since the contact information could be fraudulent. Type in the company’s web address or Google™ them). Look for a Customer Service or ‘Report Fraud’ number and call it. If the email is real, they will know, otherwise refer to Rule 1 or Rule 2.

4. DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE. The ‘unsubscribe’ link on most SPAM email is really just a ‘confirm your email address so we can get more money selling it to other SPAMMERS’ link. Unsubscribing to SPAM won’t reduce your volume of email and in most cases will actually increase the amount you receive. If you want to unsubscribe to an email list that you signed up for at some point but just don’t want to receive it any longer (technically not SPAM) go to the company’s website and unsubscribe.

5. PROTECT. Install Anti-Spam software such as LIST AFFILIATE LINKS HERE or use an internet service provider or email service who does this for you. Find an email provider that provides spam filtering. Remember though, even with the best protection, some SPAM gets through. When it does, refer to Rule 1 or Rule 2.

Follow these simple rules and you can take control over spam.

Articles Are The Quickest Way To Your Customers Wallet

One way of promoting your website and product can be achieved for free. As an additional bonus, this “free” method can boost your sites and sales, doubling and even tripling your income.
Articles. One of the easiest ways to promote your website in order to generate traffic and increase your earnings.

How does this work?
Write articles relating to your website and submit them to “free content” submission sites. Easy to do, takes little time and can increase your website traffic, sales and of course, your income.

How can article writing boost traffic and income?
The article on the free content site contains a link to your own website. Readers, after reading your articles, may choose to click on the link and pay you an unexpected visit. Having them on the free content sites is also making these articles available to other webmasters who may wish to publish that article on their site. If they do, your article will include a link back to your site. And anyone who reads the article on that site can still click on the link to visit your site. As the list of your published articles grow larger, and more and more of them are appearing on different websites, the total number of links to your site increases also. Major search engines are placing a lot of significance on incoming links to websites so they can determine the importance of a certain site. The more incoming links the website has, the more importance search engines attaches to it. This will then increase your website’s placement in the search results. If you site is into promoting a product or service, the links that your articles have achieved will mean more potential customers for you. Even if visitors only browse through, you never know if they might be in need of what you are offering in the future.

There are also those who already have specific things they need on their mind but cannot decide yet between the many choices online. Chances are, they may stumble upon one of your articles, gets interested by the contents you wrote, go to your site and became enticed by your promotions. See how easy that is?

Search engines do not just index the websites, they also index published articles. They also index any article that is written about your own website’s topic. So once someone searches for that same topic, the list of results will have your site or may even show the articles that you have written. And to think, no effort on your part was used to bring them to your site. Just your published articles and the search engines.

It is no wonder why many webmasters are suddenly reviving their old writing styles and taking time to write more articles about their site than doing other means of promotion. Getting their site known is easier if they have articles increasing their links and traffic and making it accessible for visitors searching the internet. Since many people are now taking their buying needs online, having your site on the search engines through your articles is one way of letting them know about you and your business. The good thing with articles is that you can write about things that people would want to know about. This can be achieved in the lightest mood but professional manner, with a little not-so-obvious sales pitch added. If you think about it, only a few minutes of your time is spent on writing one article and submitting to free content site. In the shortest span of time also, those are distributed to more sites than you can think of. Even before you know what is happening, you are getting more visitors than you previously had.
If you think you are wasting your time writing these articles, fast forward to the time when you will see them printed and wide-spread on the internet. Not to mention the sudden attention and interest that people are giving your website and your products or services. Try writing some articles and you will be assured of the sudden surge in site traffic, link popularity and interest. Before you know it, you will be doubling and even tripling your earnings. Nothing like getting benefits for something you got for free.

So Many Affiliate Programs! Which One Do I Choose?

Ask questions first before you join an affiliate program. Do a little research about the choices of program that you intend to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on.

Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.
When do they issue the commission checks? Every program is different. Some issue their checks once a month, every quarter, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued.

What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

How are referrals from an affiliate’s site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links.
Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to be able to hit ratio.

Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee.

Lastly, what is the amount of commission paid? 5% - 20% is the commission paid by most programs. .01% - .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website. Try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions. These can help you select the right program for you site from among the many available.

Keeping Affiliates Motivated

Running affiliates programs is easier than ever with
the software and help available now. However, keeping
your affiliates motivated and selling isn't quite
as easy to do. If the success of your business rests
upon how your affiliates perform, you make want to
provide them with the right tools to get the job
done successfully.
If you are already running an affiliate program for
your products, you should know that a large number of
people who sign up for your program never to be
heard from again. You can however, reduce the number
of non productive affiliates by remaining in touch
with them constantly.
Remind them of their usernames and passwords, and
tell them where to log in to check their stats or
get creative. Always keep them informed of new
product lines or changes in policy or procedures.
The key to motivation is making sure that you stay
in touch. Always pay attention to who your top
sellers are, and make sure that you contact them
on a regular basis. Pay attention to who your worst
producers are, and make sure you stay in touch
with them constantly as well.
The main reason most affiliates don't perform that
well is because they don't possess any leadership
or guidance. This can easily be changed by writing
a marketing course, which you can even offer for
sale to non affiliates, although you should make
it available to your affiliates at no charge.
Keep your creatives and sales copy up to date. You
should also provide new material for your affiliates
to use on a regular basis. Providing them with
nothing but a text link and one banner just
doesn't generate much excitement at all.
Provide your affiliates with sales letters, reviews,
ads, banners of different shapes and sizes, and
anything else that comes to mind. Be sure that your
affiliates know the material is there for them to
use. Always listen to your affiliates, and get
the proper feedback on your material.
You should also hold virtual meetings. Set up chat
rooms where your affiliates can attend virtual
meetings on a weekly basis. Be sure to answer any
questions, have motivated speakers, and aything
else you can think of to make the meetings more
motivated.
Given your affiliates the credit they deserve is
also very important. Each month, you should give
credit to the best performers in your affiliate
newsletter. Give small bonuses to those that
perform well, and you can even set up a payment
structure that rewards higher commissions and bigger
volumes of sales.
Always make sure you do everything you can to
help your affiliates succeed and make money in
your program. If they are making money - you are
succeeding and making money as well. In reality -
their success is your success.

How To Capitalize On The Hidden Profits In Junk Mail

HOW TO CAPITALIZE ON THE HIDDEN PROFITS IN JUNK MAIL

Don’t just glance at your junk mail and throw it away! Save it - it can put extra money in your pockets! As a matter of fact, you can make some 'easy' extra money with all your incoming mail...

First off, take a pair of scissors and clip off those cancelled postage stamps. Put them in a shoebox or envelope box and save them until you have a box full, and then send them in to either Fun Mates, PO Box 6466, San Francisco, CA 94101; DuVall Press, 920 West Grand River, Box 14, Williamston, MI 48895; or to any of the stamp collection outlets you see advertised in all the magazine and gossip-type papers. They’ll pay you $15 to $20 for each box of stamps you send to them, and if they should find a 'truly valuable' stamp in with those you send in, they’ll pay you even more.

The next thing is to save all those envelopes after you’ve clipped off the stamps. Be sure that each of your envelopes has a return address in the upper left hand corner - if it doesn’t, and you know the return address, write it in. Save these until you’ve accumulated a box full, and then send them in to either Prime Source Lists, 103 Washington St., Morristown, NJ 07960 or to the List Buyers Group, Manalpan 1000 Office park, Manalpan, NJ 07726. These companies will pay you $10 to $20 for each box of envelopes with return addresses - and a visible postmark - that you send to them.

From here, you simply save all the sales letters, advertising circulars, and other materials you receive - later on, you simply package it into 9 x 12 envelopes and send it out to people who pay you to send junk mail to them. Indeed, there are literally 'millions' of people out there who will pay you to send them package of junk mail!

Here’s how you make it work: Pick up a copy of all the mail order publications you can find - check the classifieds section specifically for people 'selling big mails'. When you spot one of these ads that looks especially appealing, clip it out, take it to the near-by print shop and have them type-set some kind of name, and your address 'in over' the name and address on the ad you clipped out. Run the finished product through the copy machine a half dozen times - clip out and paste enough of these onto an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper to fill up the whole page - and then have 50 or a hundred of these sheets of ads either printed or copied for you. Take these home and save them until you’re ready to advertise.

When that day comes, you simply clip out one of these ads, and along with your letter and payment requesting advertising space, you send it in to the publication you want to advertise in.

Back to all those mail order publications, you’ve collected... Check all those listings of 'Big Mails Wanted', jot their names and addresses down on 3 by 5 index cards and file these in zip code order and alphabetically within zip codes. You then write a letter or make up a sale circular stating that you would like to supply these people with 'Big Bundles' of Big Mail on a regular basis - about once every other month for $20 a year. Have a supply of these letters printed or copied for you, fold them up and send them off to each of the names you’ve collected of people interested in receiving Big Mails... Nothing to it, once you start the ball rolling, the orders will come in and all you’ll have to do is: Keep looking for names of people wanting Big Mails; keep sending out your sales letters offering to send them bundles of big mail on a regular basis in exchange for whatever fee you want to charge; and then, fill up envelopes to these people with junk mail you’ve received and accumulated...

Once you’ve got your first orders, take some of the money and use it to place your ads in the mail order publications you’ve seen or know about. At the same time, besides getting your name on as many mailing lists as possible, send in a letter to the publications carrying lists of people wanting Big Mails and request that your name/address be added to their regular list.

How do you get your name on mailing lists? Take a stack of postcards and type or write out: Please send more information, and either print or type your name/address below it. Then you go through the ads carried in all the publications you want to wade through, and address one of these cards to each of these advertisers. Within just a few days after dropping these cards in the mail, you’ll be inundated with all kinds of offers and opportunities - what most people call junk mail.

You can develop and/or refine this program even further by collecting/compiling and selling or renting the names from the people sending things to you in the mail - this is how many people compile the mailing lists they rent/sell - or you might want to make up a dynamite sales letter, offering to send a couple of hundred names per month to people interested in receiving names for their mail order business, for $50 to $100 per client per year. If you opt to pursue this line of development, your best bet will be to concentrate on selling all the small mail order publishers - again, much of the who and where can be compiled from your incoming mail...

Of course, if you’ve got a 'red hot' line of products you’re trying to sell by mail order, this little operation can just about pay for all your postage costs. You simply include one of your advertising circulars with each Big Mail package you send out. It works - Anyone can do it - So have at it, and the best of luck to you!!!

How Many Affiliate Programs Should I Promote?

by Elston Tuitt

The fact is that there are many people who are a member of too few affiliate programs and there are many people who are a member of too many. There are only a handful of people who have found the magic "sweet spot" right in the middle and those are the happy people who are making the most money.

Why is too few affiliate programs a problem?

Joining too few affiliate programs is a problem for 3 major reasons:

1. The bottom line is that you absolutely, positively MUST start earning multiple streams of income. One income stream, even 2 is not enough in today's world. If you are only relying on your job as your main source of income right now, you're a sitting duck for a financial disaster. If you lose your job or your health, God forbid, you could be in big trouble financially. Most people are just one paycheck away from bankruptcy.

Affiliate marketing is the same way. If you're relying on just one or two affiliate programs to pull in the bulk of your income, you're extremely vulnerable. Even if you've built up a big residual income in a program, if it goes out of business so do you.

2. Joining only one or two affiliate program does not give you enough experience to compare strengths and weaknesses of different programs. It leaves you being unaware of different possibilities and that's very dangerous to your fiscal health.

3. There's a saying that "If all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail." If you only have one or two different products or programs to promote, that's not enough to solve the many different problems people will be coming to you for. You need to have a variety of tools in your affiliate toolbox so you can pull out the right one at the right time for the right person. If you don't, you will be leaving money on the table. It's that simple.

Why is too many affiliate programs a problem?

Joining too many affiliate programs is a problem for 2 MAJOR reasons:

1. You will get way too distracted. Focus has great power and if you have too many things to think about at one time, you'll get confused. When you're confused, you don't take action. When you don't action, you don't make money.

2. People won't take you seriously. If you're promoting everything and anything, people will sense your lack of sincerity and have no desire to do business with you. One of the big secrets to affiliate marketing success is promoting things you have some experience with and believe in.

But there a magic "sweet spot" somewhere in the middle of having enough products and programs to promote that keep you diversified and capable of solving multiple problems for people.

For example, if you get 100 people to visit your website and only have one product you're promoting and your website successfully converts 1 out of 100 visitors to a sale, then you've made 1 sale. But if you have a couple more products on your site that are related but different, you may find that you get 3-5 people out of 100 who buy from you because they find other things that solve their problems. So just having a few different options for people can multiply your income 300% or more without any additional effort.

In my experience, 5-6 different affiliate programs in a niche is the generally the best starting point. This gives you enough experience with different programs to compare their strengths and weaknesses. It gives you enough diversity so you can offer your prospects the right solution at the right time. And it broadens your own affiliate portfolio enough so that you can survive a disaster just in case one of the affiliate programs you are promoting falls on hard times.

No matter what niche market you are in, I encourage you to you diversify your affiliate portfolio and get at least 5-6 high quality, top paying affiliate programs to promote in order to ensure your short-term and long-term success.

Are You Already Marketing On The Internet?

Take a moment to think about how you would really answer this question. If given enough thought just about any business owner who utilizes the Internet for any purpose will likely find that whether or not they intentionally organized an Internet marketing campaign, they may already be marketing their products and services on the Internet. This article will examine some subtle ways business owners may already be marketing their business on the Internet.
Do you have a website for your business? Business owners who answer yes to this question are already marketing their products or services online just by virtue of the fact that they have a website online. Having a live website means there is the potential for curious Internet users to access your website. You may not be actively promoting your website but you may still find that your website generates interest in your products despite the lack of promotional endeavors; this is a form of passive marketing.

Do you participate in message boards and include a link to your website in your signature? Again business owners who answer yes to this question are already marketing their website online. Savvy business owners realize the importance of participation in industry related message boards to create an interest in their products and services, establish themselves as knowledgeable about the industry and offer a link to their own website even if it is in the signature line of their posts. However, even business owners who do not realize this may already be inadvertently enjoying the benefits of Internet marketing which result from message board participation just by doing something they enjoy and may be doing as a form of leisure activity.
Do you include keywords which are relevant to your business in the content of your website? Business owners who answer yes to this question are also already marketing on the Internet by optimizing their website for these keywords. These search engine optimization (SEO) affects the websites whether or not they were even aware of the concept of keyword density and how it can help to SEO a website. Business owners will likely use certain words often depending on the type of products and services they offer just because it is natural and logical to do so. This tendency, however, can result in search engines boosting your website rankings for these particular keywords. The concept of SEO is much more involved and complex than simply using keywords frequently but business owners can gain some benefit just by naturally applying relevant keywords to their website.

Do you solicit feedback from your customers online? This is yet another example of how business owners may be accidentally marketing their business on the Internet. Most business owners realize the importance of soliciting feedback from customers for business purposes and business owners who offer products online might solicit feedback in the form of online surveys. Although the business owners may be doing this simply for a business purpose the fact that it is done online makes it fall into the category of Internet marketing.

We have already discussed several ways in which business owners may already be marketing online but what about business owners who want to have an increased online presence? Business owners who may already be marketing online accidentally may wish to launch a full scale Internet marketing campaign. The best way to do this is to hire a consultant with experience in Internet marketing to assist you in creating a campaign which is effective for your target audience.

I Hate Writing Articles - Isn't There An Easier Way?!

Owning, running and maintaining an internet based business or a site needs articles. Plain and simple, every who has a site knows this. Even those who don’t have sites but are frequent internet users knows this as well. Articles quench the thirst for information and knowledge of the people. Plus, the articles provides many other benefits for the site.

The benefits that articles provide are putting a site high in the ranking in search results of keywords and keyword phrases that pertains or are relevant to his or her site. They also provide attraction to website visitors when they are appreciated and is linked to your site from another site or newsletter. Articles provide for the increase of the confidence and trust levels of customers to your site and company.

Many articles are also beneficial to both company and its traffic. When the readers like the articles, they would tell more of their friends, family and peers and recommend your site to them, providing for a larger volume of traffic. You get bigger sales if your traffic trusts and believes in you. Your product or services would be much easier to sell when they know you know what you are doing and talking about.

So ok, we have established that articles are very important to a site and to business. Articles are crucial and to keep ahead in the game, a site must have an article, it is imperative. There is one dilemma though, not many people like writing articles.
Many website owners would rather spend their time on something else, and unless you’re a big time company, you don’t have the necessary resources to use on a pool of article writers. Plagiarism or copying of other articles is frowned upon and could easily get you into trouble, worst case scenario; a hefty fine and jail time.

So what are the other options?
Well, for starters if you hate writing articles and you can’t afford to hire people to write for you then don’t. Get free articles. The first place to look at for free articles is the public domain. Here you won’t have problems with copyright infringement and the following penalties and fines if you get caught for plagiarism.

Public domain articles are articles freely given to the public for public use. You can do whatever you want with it. You can place it on your site, name it as yours, put it in a newsletter its you decision. Always remember though that you will have to choose articles that is very relevant to your site.

The downside to public domain articles is that since it is free for everybody, many of your competitors may have access to them as well. Since every site needs to be original and unique even though you have the same niche, this could be a predicament. You may also have to edit them a bit to place more keywords and keyword phrases to make them better.

Another way to get free articles is to allow other sites which has the same subject or topic as yours to submit articles to your site. This would be only to augment your existing content or else all your articles would be leading to other sites since these articles would have resource boxes with them that could link or direct the readers to their site. That’s why it is important to have your own articles; you cold use them to link your site to other sites as well.

But, to truly feel the impact of what a good article to you, go for original ones. There are many article writers who do part time and freelance article writing jobs that charges only minimal fees. You can get good articles that have all the keywords and keyword phrases you need and people are looking for.

The investment you made for these articles would be worthwhile because you could use them for all the benefits you could offer. You hold copyrights to them and you will be able to use them anyway you want. As your articles help you in building your business and your site, you will have more articles to write and maybe then you wont be having second thoughts about articles.

How to Make Money with Free Content

By:Daegan Smith

The internet has given people numerous business opportunities. From business sites where a person can choose a product to auction sites where people can bid online to get something. There are other ways to make money using the web and one can start by first building a website.

A website can be created by anyone who has an idea what the website is for. When the concept has been thought of, one can begin by putting it together if the person knows how to do it or with the assistance of someone who has done this before. There are people who this for a living or asking a favor from a friend of family member who is in this field.

One of the things essential in making a website is creating a domain name. It should be catchy and will easily be remembered by people. Given that new websites are created around the world, it is best to think of a lot of names which can be used in the event that the first choice to be used has already been taken by someone else.

Most people prefer something that is free which creates more traffic. One can create a website made out of free content. The best example for this is a Blog site. Such domains are used on various topics from how the day went to issues that are talked about in society.

For it be easily found by users, a person should create keywords that if a person is using for a certain topic in the various search engines, ones Blog site will pop out which will invite people to view and join it since after all it is free.

Some people may ask then, how can someone maintain a Blog site for free without getting anything like money in return? The answer is simple. The more popular the site becomes and businesses want to advertise by telling the people that a product or service exists; these people can be charged a certain fee for advertising in ones website.

The money can be used for the maintenance and upgrade of the Blog site or whatever the person wants to do with the money. This concept is being used by people these days just like a television or radio station makes money from consumer products by charging air time for its advertisements. This is a win-win situation for both parties since in the end, everyone makes money.

Making the Blog site user friendly is essential in making it grow. To make sure it is good to visit and for people to recommend to others, it should be tested by friends and family members for feedback on anything that could have been missed out. The most important thing to remember before launching it is making sure that ones Blog site is fully operational and will not have any glitches that users will face when logging on to it.

The most important thing to do is to determine what the person wants to do by creating a website. There are other options that enable a person to make money out of free content. Another example is making an email service.

When email sites started years ago, the designers only expected to have a hundred people who will use what was created to communicate with others. Little did these individuals know that it grew into something bigger which created more users in the millions. These are the success stories of some of the email sites that most people use today that are not charged for being members.

The people who get charged to make the site bigger and making sure its running smoothly are the businesses who want to let people know that there are goods and services that are to there to help address certain needs.

This can be done by allowing the advertiser to use pop up ads or Meta tags in the Blog or email site. Does ones site always have to be free? In the beginning yes so it will gain ground in the market. Later on as the site becomes popular, the designer can look into the idea of charging members a certain fee as long as users can understand the practicality of being charged.

Search engine marketing 101

Here are a few tips to get you started on the right foot...
First make sure you're offering something people are actually "searching" for, the product should meet a need, fix a problem, or provide a highly sought after service. All the clicks in the world won't make you money if nobody wants what you have.

Next try to target the people you're actually looking to sell to, for example if you're selling soap, you should make your ad appeal to dirty people (jk!) but you know what I mean. Make sure your ad shows you have the answer to their specific need.

Lastly try to make your ad stand out above the rest, you don't want to mention the same perks every other ad on the page has, why would they pick yours? Try to highlight what makes your product better than any others out there. If you're not the cheapest, maybe you have the best service...

More tips soon to come, GL

Sedona - (How to Make Some Money in AZ)

by wanderingrudie

Great stop in central Arizona for those who are on a bit too tight of a budget.

When you are short of cash and you need to employ one of the many tactics listed on digihitch (music, jewelry, spanging, etc.), what do you do when you are in a crappy town for it?

Flagstaff doesn't get enough people with available cash. The only place where there are enough people to do any good is on NAU campus, but college students aren't exactly the kind of people who will buy anything on a whim.

The Phoenix and Tempe area is a city that is built out, not up, so there are not that many places that get much thoroughfare. This makes it very difficult to sell anything on the street, and on the north side the cops don't take too kindly to street performers or vendors. They wont do much, per say, but they will watch you closely to see if they can get you on any charge, no matter how small.

The best possible place to make some cash in Arizona is Sedona. It is a breeze to hitch a ride there. South out of Flagstaff on I-17, and then turn west onto Schnebly Hill Road. If you want the scenic route, follow S. Beulah Blvd south out of Flag, which becomes 89A. 89A follows the Oak Creek Canyon all the way to Sedona. It's beautiful along that way and takes the same amount of time as I-17.

Sedona is solely a tourist town. Anywhere you go along the main drag and surrounding streets you will find crowds of tourists walking around looking at the shops. Everyone has lots of loose cash on them because Sedona is a very expensive place. You can set up anywhere along the main drag (still 89A all the way to almost Wickenburg) and make loads of easy money from the many tourists wandering the streets looking for authentic handmade souvenirs or some enjoyable entertainment.

At the end of the day, you can hitch back up 89A to any one of the turn-offs along the canyon to camp. Every turn-off along Oak Creek Canyon is there because it an easy place for drivers to pull over and climb down to the creek. The ground at the creek is stomped flat in many of these and the water is clean and good for bathing in the morning. It is usually safe to drink, but be wary. Your best bet is to walk to one of the campgrounds and use the water pumps there.

You can repeat this process until you have sufficient funds to continue on your way. It's nothing to get a ride back to Flag if that is the way you want to go, or just as easy to keep following 89A south to Cottonwood, where you can turn onto Hwy 279 and hook back up with I-17 to continue on south to Phoenix if that's your notion.

Either way you're headed, Sedona is the place to go if you need money or a nice place to sleep between Phoenix and Flagstaff, or just want to see the Red Rocks that actually attract all the tourists in the first place.

Using Product Recommendations To Increase Your Bottom Line

In affiliate marketing, there are many ways in which you can increase your earnings and maintain the account that you have worked so hard for already. Most of the techniques and tactics can be learned easily. No need to go anywhere and any further. They are available online, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
One of the more important ways of increasing affiliate marketing bottom line and sale is through the use of product recommendations. Many marketers know that this is one of the most effective ways in promoting a certain product.
If the customers or visitors trust you enough, then they will definitely trust your recommendations. Be very careful in using this approach, though. If you start promoting everything by recommendation, your credibility will actually wear thin. This is seen especially when recommendations are seemingly exaggerated and without much merit.
Do not be afraid to mention things that you do not like about a given product or service. Rather than lose any points for you, this will make your recommendation more realistic and will tend to increase your credibility.
Furthermore, if your visitors are really interested in what you are offering, they will be more than delighted to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good, and how the product will benefit them.
When you are recommending a certain product, there are some things to remember on how to make it work effectively and for your advantage.
Sound like the true and leading expert in your field.
Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. If your visitors feel and believe that you are an expert in your niche, they are more inclined to making that purchase. On the other hand, if you are not exuding any confidence and self-assurance in endorsing your products, they will probably feel that same way and will go in search of another product or service which is more believable.
How do you establish this aura of expertise? By offering unique and new solutions they would not get anywhere else. Show proof that what you are promoting works as promised. Display prominent testimonials and endorsements from respected and known personalities, in related fields of course.
Avoid hype at all costs. It is better to sound low key and confident, than to scream and seek attention. Besides, you would not want to sound unprofessional and have that thinking stick to your potential customers and clients, now would you? Best to appear cool and self-assured at the same time.
And remember; prospects are not stupid. They are actually turning to experts and may already know the things that you know. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they would gladly put down hundreds, or even thousands worth of money to your promotions. But if you don’t, they are smart enough to try and look at your competitors and what they are offering.
While recommending a product, it is also important that you give out promotional freebies. People are already familiar with the concept of offering freebies to promoting your won products. But very few people do this to promote affiliate products. Try to offer freebies that can promote or even have some information about your products or services.
Before you add recommendations to you product, it is given that you should try and test the product and support. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it took you to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that will take to destroy it is one big mistake on your part.
If possible, have recommendations of products that you have 100% confidence in. Test the product support before you begin to ensure that the people you are referring it to would not be left high and dry when a problem suddenly arouse.
Have a look at your affiliate market and look at the strategies you are using. You may not be focusing on the recommendations that your products need to have. You plan of action is sometimes not the only thing that is making your program works.
Try product recommendation and be among those few who have proven its worth.

Why advertisers should use Google AdWords and Adsense

By: Matthew Meyer

Google is the biggest search engine on the web. It controls over 40% of Internet searches, and with that it controls pay per click advertising (pay per click). PPC involves the advertiser paying a rate for every click through (CTR) in which the advertisers set. As their budget increases, their position increases, and as their position increases, they get more traffic.

This has lead to over 140,000 companies choosing to advertise with them, and they advertise in a number of ways. The first way is through is through appearing on Google searches, the second is through appearing on distributors websites, and the third is through appearing in distributors search results. As advertisers appear in Google searches, the question is sometimes asked. Why do they choose to advertise with distributors as well?

One reason for this is scalability. Those who originally choose to advertise in search results and who were getting a ROI (return on investment) will decide at one point that they need to identify other advertising opportunities. With thousands of websites which have the capacity to display their adverts the advertisers can gain further exposure very quickly.

Another reason why advertisers choose to advertise in Google distributors websites is that it gains them further exposure. 60% of internet users do not use Google, so the advertiser can appeal to a wider audience through choosing to opt for distribution channels. Many website users may be looking to buy a product such as a phone, yet instead of coming across a website which sells such a product, they come across an article. If the article is on a website which contains Adsense then inevitably advertisers can use this channel to penetrate their audience.

Another reason why advertisers choose adsense is because they trust Google. The company is renowned for being an ethical company who are fun to work whilst providing free services to millions worldwide. Advertisers feel that money invested with Google is safe. Despite the evolution of click-fraud and its inevitable disadvantages for advertisers they appear to understand that this is an issue which Google wants to stop and hopefully will eventually. Advertisers are happy that Google admits a problem exits and provides refunds accordingly.

The trust in Google also stems from a trust in pricing. The pricing is set by market forces and therefore advertisers never feel that publishers or Google are overpricing the service. This means that as long as advertisers are able to advertise they will continue to do so, if not at the same rates.

Another strong advantage for advertisers is that they can appear where publishers promote their service. An example of this can seen if you consider a publisher who is discussing the benefits of new IT software. If a software retailer appears on the website then inevitably they will be the likely source from which the web surfer will purchase the product. If the surfer is not interested then you could argue that they would not click on the advert.

The service which Google provides has created an opportunity for businesses of all sizes to advertise. Although the issue of click fraud still plagues the service it is till widely regarded as the best. New businesses attempt to promote themselves on the web, whilst established brands alike choose to attract interest in their service using the same technique.
